Graffiti House

The brief for Graffiti House was to turn the existing St Peters warehouse building into a single residence with a focus on retaining the large open spaces the client had fallen in love with. While a warehouse renovation is traditionally quite internally focused the opportunity was available to create an internal courtyard opening on to the adjacent park while creating dramatic double height voids inside.

The Graffiti wall gives an intriguing story for anyone passing through Simpson Park while the internal courtyard breaks down the large double height wall facing the pedestrian path providing a small glimpse to the home beyond.
