Toowoomba House

The re-design to this quintessential elevated Toowoomba house revolved around opening the living spaces up to the outdoors and bringing natural light into the existing dark rooms. A re-configuration of the internal layout of the existing house along with a modest extension to the north facing rear garden will provide two distinct zones separated by a glazed bridge – An area for dining, eating and living. The other for bedrooms and a study space. Functionally this provides privacy while also allowing for the living zone to be lowered down to ground level giving direct access to the rear garden and pool.
