Bondi Beach Apartments

About This Project

This extremely narrow site sits directly opposite Bondi Beach. The challenge in this design was to maintain and compliment certain heritage values present in the neighbouring buildings while providing for a new contemporary retail space at street level and two dual level luxury apartments serviced by a car stacker, elevator and all the mod cons. With a refined and somewhat subtle street frontage to Campbell Pde, an attempt was made to be a bit more playful with the more hidden rear facade. Dual aspects across two levels to each apartment allowed for spaces which both engage with the lively scene of Bondi while also providing the quiet zones required of a home.
